Why Beryl Glow Exists

The idea for Beryl Glow emerged from countless dinner party conversations. Over and over, intelligent, successful people admitted they felt lost when it came to managing their money. A software engineer earning six figures who had never checked her pension. A small business owner who kept his finances in a shoebox. A teacher approaching retirement with no clear picture of whether he could actually afford to stop working.

These weren't careless people. They were busy, capable individuals who had simply never been taught how to think about money systematically. Financial advisors often push products. Banks want to sell mortgages and credit cards. Genuine education—someone sitting down and explaining concepts without an ulterior motive—was remarkably hard to find.

We founded Beryl Glow in 2018 to fill that gap. Our model is intentionally simple: we charge for our time, not for products we sell. When we recommend something, it's because we believe it serves your interests, full stop. No commissions muddy the advice.
